Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fastory (the "app"), operated by HealthyAI Studio. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Fastory.

Important. Intermittent fasting is not safe for everyone. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of eating disorders, diabetes, low blood pressure, take prescription medication, or have any health condition that could be affected by changes to your eating pattern — consult a doctor before using this app.

2. Not medical advice

Fastory is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI Coach insights, education articles, guided programs, and any text generated by the app are for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical guidance.

If during a fast you feel faint, dizzy, develop chest pain, rapid heart rate, severe headache, or any concerning symptom — break your fast and consult a healthcare provider. Do not rely on the app to tell you when something is wrong.

3. Your account

You can use Fastory without signing up (anonymous mode) or sign up with email, Apple, or Google. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We're not liable for unauthorized access from a stolen device or shared password.

If you sign up, your data syncs to your account and follows you across devices. If you stay anonymous, your data lives only on the device you installed the app on and will be lost if you uninstall or change phones.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app to harm yourself or others.
Submit false fast data to game the leaderboard, achievements, or any feature.
Use offensive, harassing, or illegal content as your display name or in journal entries shared via screenshots.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) against any part of the service.
Attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or bypass security.

5. Subscriptions

Some features are available only via a premium subscription, billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms:

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
You can cancel anytime through your App Store / Play Store account settings (not in the app).
Refunds are subject to the App Store / Play Store policies. We don't process refunds directly.
If you delete the app or your account, your subscription does not automatically cancel — you must cancel via the store.

6. Free trial

Some plans may offer a free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge.

7. Content you provide

You retain ownership of everything you put into the app — journal entries, photos, notes, fast logs. By submitting them, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display them solely within your own app instance for the purpose of providing the service. We never share your content publicly. We never train AI models on your content.

8. Intellectual property

The Fastory app, the Fastory name, our logo, design system, illustrations, written content (articles, guided plans, insight templates), and source code are owned by HealthyAI Studio. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Me → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, attempt to harm the service, or use the app in a way that we determine, in good faith, poses a safety risk.

10. Service availability

We strive for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The app depends on Firebase (Google Cloud), which has its own service-level commitments. We may temporarily disable features for maintenance.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Fastory and HealthyAI Studio are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including (without limitation) health consequences, lost data, or lost profits.
This includes any harm arising from following, misinterpreting, or relying on content within the app.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if you never paid anything).

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations — in that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by your local law.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/UK, this clause does not affect rights you have under your local consumer protection law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in-app. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continued use of the app after the change means you accept the updated terms.
